@anarchiv tbh I suspect a lot of the folks refusing to take steps to protect themselves and others are doing so out of a misplaced sense of rebellion.
If we were organizing local responses ourselves, instead of relying on the state for direction, there'd probably be much less of it.
The popularity of Wikipedia article about #workercoops seems to be going up a lot - last month was by far the best month since records began!
Enough is Enough: **#Vienna: Soliaction „still lovin´ squatting! Smash §92a! (demanding payment)**
"Vienna. Austria. In November 2018, activists occupied an empty building in Vienna. They called their new house “Nele”."
Reminder that coops flourished during the great depression, being one of the few reliable sources of employment, and that credit unions were by and large the only financial institutions to make it through the '08 recession unscathed
Supporting the cooperative economy isn't just some long-term fantasy of slowly weakening capitalism from within until it withers. It's also vital dual power, and it'll be just as vital even if neoliberalism collapses in the next few years (which it very well might)
Support! Your! Local! Coop! Economy!
Side neither with nations nor with parties. Be neither Russians, Poles nor Slavs. Rather, be men who hunger for truth, free from any thoughts of particular interests, and from speculative ideas concerning the Chinese, Africans or Europeans. The patriot always ends up hating the foreigner, and loses the sense of justice that once kindled his enthusiasm.

happening now, climatejustice activists blocking a cruiser ship
In their cominique they explain their reasons, such as:
We have enough ships and money to travel around for holiday, but not enough to safe refugees. This is unacceptable. Cruise ships consume a lot of ressources incl. fossil fuel and by that spit out toxic gases and greenhouse gases. In times of a #climatecrisis, neither this is acceptable. Workers on the ships are heavily exploited, while very few become rich.
Cruise ships are run on an exploitive system that is destroyn our enviornment.
Let's stop them! #smashcruiseshit
(ofcourse did the police came to counter their action, but at least for now, it is still blocked)
